Meet Our Speakers

Krista Simpson Anderson

Special Guest Speaker

Krista is the 2018 Military Spouse of the Year, founder of The Unquiet Professional and the Gold Star and Surviving Family Liaison for the Green Beret Foundation. After tragically losing her husband overseas, she has made it her life mission to serve other military families. During her time of need, she found comfort in the support of her military spouse tribe. It is when we rally around one another that we can get through anything. And in these moments, we discover what it is that we are made of.

I’m a paragraph. Double click me or click Edit Text, it's easy.

As the founder of Be Bold Be You, Crystal believes that once we find our inner courage and and allow ourselves to stop being a victim, we find hope. Just as she did. Hindered by fear, others opinions and her past mistakes, Crystal says it wasn’t until she learned to love and respect herself and be comfortable in her own skin that she began to see the treasure that she is. Just as all of us are. Today her mission is to create a space for us to discover who we are and what we want to do, then to create a vehicle to help us get there.

Kelly McNelis

Founder of Women for One + Author

Panel Speaker

Kelly's global network empowers  all women to embrace our voices and make life happen, on our own terms. She champions women who are ready to step up, claim their power, love their messiness, and speak their truth with vulnerable transparency. She believes that when we become clear about who we are, boldly claim our passion and purpose, and encourage each other to shine, we create supportive communities where all our voices matter.
