Before moving to WA and founding Northwest Military Wives, Kristin was the editor of the National Infantry Association's magazine, The Infantry Bugler, and awarded the Shield of Sparta. As well as working as a Seattle news reporter, she has experience writing for publications such as Military Spouse magazine. Today she enjoys entrepreneurship, working from home with her two toddlers as President of RLC Creatives. Through her experiences as a military spouse, and her husband's recent medical retirement, she's learned happiness and a strong sense of self aren't something any woman should sacrifice.
Originally from Vermont, Kelly moved to the Pacific Northwest many years before meeting her soldier. As a military wife, she remembers how lonely it can be and feels passionately about creating an organization that she wished was available during those hard times. As she became the owner of Wild Fern Photography - featured in publications such as Mercer Living Magazine - after her husband's transition to a Kirkland police officer, she realized how important it is for women to support and uplift one another, and enjoys opportunities to give back to our military community.
Growing up a military brat of a Vietnam war hero, Lori understands just how much military families sacrifice to protect our freedoms. As a well-known PR Representative and Publicist in Seattle, she works with the Seattle Seahawks, musicians and celebrities. Lori's fame began when she co-founded High Maintenance Bitch, a boutique canine line that caught interest of celebrities such as Scarlett Johanssen and Al Pacino. Today, she and her famous dog Texas are often found at red carpet events throughout Seattle, but those closest to her heart are events benefitting the military and first responder community.
